World Roller Games is the largest event associating many skating disciplines. From 4-14 July, more than 4100 players from 81 countries competed for the championship titles. This year as many as 5 skaters from Slalom Academy represented Poland at the World Championships in Barcelona. For all the students it was a debut in such a big competition. Everyone made every effort and trained bravely to show their best side.

Klaudia has been competing in the World Championships since 2011. At this Championship she won the bronze medal in the classic competition! This is another medal of our coach. As she admits, it was a very stressful competition for her, but thanks to the support of many people she gave her all and she is very happy with the success.

Zosia presented a new classic performance for the song Waltz – Lindsey Stirling. The music fits in perfectly with the young girl’s style combined with the technically difficult tricks guaranteed her 10th place. In the battle competition Zosia ended up at 9th position.

The youngest representative Janek did a great job showing perfect runs that gave him 9th place in the battle. In other categories young skater took 13th place in slides and 29th in speed slalom.

Bartek took part in the battle and took 17th place. Despite the stress, he came back satisfied and happy to get to know and start with the best.

Roman started in slides. Good runs allowed him to leave the group and finally finished the competition in 9th place.

All came back richer with valuable experience and full of motivation.
